Your contribution will help care for the horses at Medicine Horse Ranch, or be used to provide a scholarship to someone who is unable to pay for a healing retreat.
It is the horses at Medicine Horse Ranch who work tirelessly to offer healing and learning opportunities to the groups and individuals who come to the ranch, many who are trauma survivors and not always able to pay for the healing work they so desperately need.
The horses are truly my partners in teaching Emotional Fitness & Agility which is the cornerstone of all the work we do here. The costs related to horse care have increased dramatically over the past two years, increasing from about $2800 per horse to almost $5,000 per horse per year.
Additionally, many people in the aftermath of trauma also experience financial challenges and the first thing to go is the very work they need to heal.
I feel that my horses and I provide a valuable service to the world wide community and that there are many people who would like to have the opportunity to get in on how good that feels!
